On December 10th, 2014, AUCA President Andrew Wachtel, Vice President for Finance Talant Sultanov, and Head of Software Engineering Department Almaz Bakenov participated in the first Central Asian Symposium on the Internet, 鈥淧rospects of development of the Internet in the Kyrgyz Republic鈥�.

The UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign is a 16-day effort organized by the United Nations from the 25th of November to the 10th of December to raise awareness and end abuse against women and girls.
